Short answer
An interview can remain queued or processing while ScribeFlash uploads media, schedules transcription, detects speakers, and prepares the transcript for review.
01
What each status means
- Uploading means the browser is still sending the file.
- Queued means the file was accepted and is waiting for processing.
- Processing means transcription and transcript preparation are running.
- Completed means the transcript is ready to review.
- Failed means ScribeFlash could not finish the job and the item needs attention.
02
When to wait
Longer recordings and video files can take more time. Keep the project open or return to the Interviews list later to refresh the latest status.
03
What to try if processing fails
- 1Confirm the source file is playable on your device.
- 2Upload one file at a time if a batch failed.
- 3Use a supported audio or video format.
- 4Check whether your plan has enough interview and minute quota.
- 5Contact support with the project name and interview name if the same file repeatedly fails.
